Question 64877: I have been working with the quadratic equation since September and have finally mastered it. I need to do a presentation on it and have come up with a question I can't seem to find the answer to. Here is it:
What is the quadratic equation used for? I understand the formula and can plug in the numbers, but where, in practical life, do we use it?
