Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2-3X/5+X/3=4
-3X/5+X/3=4-2 FIND A COMMON DENOMINATOR FOR 3 & 5 WHICH IS 15
[(-3X)3+5X]/15=2
(-9X+5X)/15=2
-4X/15=2 CROSS MULTIPLY & WE GET
-4X=30
X=30/-4
X=-7.5
PROOF
2-3(-7.5)/5-7.5/3=4
2+22.5/5-7.5/3=4
2+4.5-2.5=4
6.5-2.5=4
4=4
