Question 62041: Find the x- intercepts of y=x^2-x-5 can any one help?
Answer by Nate(3500) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
0 = x^2 - x - 5
5 = x^2 - x
21/4 = (x - 1/2)^2
+- sqrt(21)/2 = x - 1/2
(1 +- sqrt(21))/2 = x
You can also use the quadratic formula.
