i have to find the coordinates of the vertex of y=-7x^2+2x
The x coordinate of the vertex is found with the formula:
The quadratic formula is in standard form:
a=-7, b=2, and c=0


The y coordinate is what you get when you substitute the x coordinate into the equation and solve for y.




The vertex is (-1/7,-3/7).
