6x^2-13x+6=0
We need to factor the left side which is in standard form:
a=6, b=-13, and c=6
Replace the middle term with two numbers that multiply to give you a*c=6*6=26, but add to give you b=-13. -4*-9=36 and -4+-9=-13
6x^2-4x-9x+6=0 Factor by grouping
(6x^2-4x)+(-9x+6)=0 group
2x(3x-2)-3(3x-2)=0 factor out the GCF in each group
(3x-2)(2x-3)=0 Factor the 3x-2 out of each.
3x-2=0 and 2x-3=0
3x=2 and 2x=3
3x/3=2/3 and 2x/2=3/2
x=2/3 and x=3/2
Happy Calculating!!!
