Question 56813: 2x^2 + 3x=1
Answer by checkley71(8403) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2X^2+3X=1
2X^2+3X-1
using the quadratic equation we get
x=(-b+-sqrtb^2-4ac)/2a
x=(-3+-sqrt-3^2-4*2*-1)/2*2
x=(-3+-sqrt9+8)/4
x=(-3+-sqrt17)/4
x=(-3+4.123)/4
x=1.123/4
and
x=(-3-4.123)/4
x=-7.123/4
