Question 545791: 1\x-1=x\x+1
Answer by saifoo.khan(162)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/(x-1) = x/(x+1)
Cross multiply,
x(x-1) = 1(x+1)
x^2 - x = x + 1
x^2 - x-x -1 = 0
x^2 -2x - 1=0
Use the quadratic formula to solve. =)
you will get,
1 - sqrt2; and 1 + sqrt2
