Answer by Edwin McCravy(20056)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
    2x² - 7x = 1

Get it in the form ax² + bx + c = 0 by subtracting 1 from
both sides:

2x² - 7x - 1 = 0

Compare to

ax² + bx + c = 0

a=2, b=-7, c=-1
