Question 4917: Is there a value for C (C is not = to 0) such that the trinomial
X squared + X + C is factorable?
Explain why or why not

Answer by longjonsilver(2297)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x+a)(x+b) --> and you have 1x ie (a+b) has to be equal to +1

So, pick any pair of numbers that add to 1 eg +4 and -3...your c value here is -12: --> (x+4)(x-3) etc.
