Question 48690: How do you compute the intercepts of a quadratic function?
Answer by longjonsilver(2297) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
the x-intercepts are where y=0. So put y=0 and then you need to, hopefully, factorise the remaining terms to find the solutions.
If you cannot factorise then go to the quadratic formula to find the answers.
