Let y=6x(squared)+13x+6.Use factorization to determine the x-intercepts.Find the y-intercepts and then sketch the graph.
**
y=6x^2+13x+6
y-intercept, set x=0, then solve for y
y=0+0+6=6
y-intercept=6
..
x-intercepts or zeros
set y=0, then solve for x, by factoring in this case
0=6x^2+13x+6
(2x+3)((3x+2)=0
2x+3=0
2x=-3
x=-3/2
or
3x+2=0
3x=-2
x=-2/3
x-intercepts: -3/2 and -2/3

Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=6x^2+13x+6
when x=0 y =6 (0,6)
When y=0 , 6x^2+13x+6=0
6x^2+9x+4x+6=0
3x(2x+3)+2(2x+3)=0
(2x+3)(3x+2)=0
x=-3/2OR x=-2/3
(-3/2,0) and (-2/3,0)
When x= 0.5 , y = 12.5 ( 0.5,14)
when x=-0.5, y= 1)
Calculate y for a few values of +/-x plot the points and you will get a graph as shown below
