Question 443649: use the quadratic formula
1/3x^2-4x+5=0
Answer by mananth(16946) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
1/3x^2-4x+5=0
multiply by 3
x^2-12x+15=0
a= 1 b= -12 c= 15
b^2-4ac=144-60
b^2-4ac=84
sqrt(84 )=9.17
x1=(12+ 9.17)/ 2
x1=10.58
x2=(12-9.17)/2
x2= 1.42
