Question 42797: 2x to the second power + 5x + 1 = 0
Answer by fractalier(6550) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
From 2x^2 + 5x + 1 = 0
we use the quadratic since it cannot be factored...thus
x = (-5 ± sqrt(25 - 8)) / 4
x = (-5 ± sqrt(17)) / 4
