NO ..THIS IS A CURVE.SO IT DOES NOT HAVE A CONSTANT SLOPE LIKE A ST.LINE.IT HAS VARIABLE SLOPE DIFFERENT AT EACH POINT ON THE CURVE.
IT MAY HAVE INTERCEPTS ON X AXIS IF Y=0 HAS REAL ROOTS.SAY IF
Y=X^2-5X+6=0...THEN THERE ARE 2 INTERCEPTS AT X=2 AND 3.
IF Y=X^2+1=0....THEN IT DOES NOT CUT X AXIS.
IF Y=X^2-4X+4=0....THEN IT TOUCHES X AXIS AT X=2
