Write each function in vertex form:
y=x^+9x+8
Apparently you mean y = x^2 + 9x + 8
y=(x^2+9x+20.25)+8 - 20.25
y = (x + 4.5)^2 - 12.25

I tried:
y=(x^+9x+20.25)+8+20.25
y=(x+29.25)+28.25
y=-2x^+5x
