Hello, Best way to tackle this is get rid of the fractions by multiplying by
2x(3x+1)
This will give us:
(3x+1)-(2x)=2(2x)(3x+1)
Rewrite this as:
x+1=12x^2+4x
Get this to equal zero:
0=12x^2+3x-1
Plug this into the Quadratic Formula to get:

Make sense?
