Hi,
solving for y to put into slope intercept form
6x-3y=-9
2x + 3 = y
the standard slope-intercept form for an equation of a line: y = mx + b
where m is the slope and b the y-intercept.
y = 2x + 3 Slope = 2 Or (2/1)
y-intercept Pt(0,3)
Note as y increases/decreases by 2, the x increases/decreases by 1
