Question 361105: Jess here! I need some help! I am not good in math AT ALL and this includes intermediate Algebra (section 11.4). My teacher is requiring that we, the students, show every single step on how we obtained our answers. If someone could be so kind as to help me solve this problem (below), with every single required step on how you got your answer, I would be SO HAPPY and so GRATEFUL!
Directions state: Solve the equation by making an appropriate substitution.
x^4 - 〖40x〗^2+144=0
