Question 313898: Graph the quadratic equation
y = x^2+ 2x

Answer by rapaljer(4671)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
There are several ways to graph a quadratic function like this. I'm not sure exactly how you want to do this. First, if a graphing calculator is allowed, just enter this "x^2 + 2x" in the calculator and let the calculator do it for you! Here is the algebra.com graphing calculator:

You can also graph it by just finding points.
Let x = 0, and find y. y=0^2+2*0=0
let x = 1, and find y: y=1^2 +2*1 = 3
Let x = 2, and find y: y=2^2 + 2*2=8
Let x= -1, and find y: y=(-1)^2 + 2*(-1) = 3
etc.
