Question 313270: Use the quadratic formula to determine the x-intercepts (if any) of the following function, then evaluate the function for several values of x, and use the resulting points to graph the function.
f(x)=1/4x^2
I'm having a terrible time with this question and need some assistance with it as soon as possible, my brain hurts! So if anyone could answer this and explain, it would be greatly appreciated, thank you all SO very much!

Use the quadratic formula to determine the x-intercepts (if any) of the following function. Then evaluate the function for several values of x, and use the resulting points to graph the function.
f(x) = 1/4x^2
:

in the this equation, a = .25, b & c = 0

x =
x = 0 obviously
then
y = 0

:
Note the y intercept = 0, vertex 0,0
:
"Then evaluate the function for several values of x, and use the resulting points to graph the function.
:
substitute for x in x^2, find y
example,x=2:
y = 2^2
y = 1
:
x | y
-------
-2 |+1
-1 |+.25
0 | 0
+1 |+.25
+2 |+1
