Okay, from (x+3)^2+27x+60=0,
let's expand, collect like terms, and solve...here goes...
x^2 + 6x + 9 + 27x + 60 = 0
x^2 + 33x + 69 = 0
We would like to factor this by finding factors of 69 that add to 33, but there aren't any, so we'll have to use the quadratic formula...

so that
x = [-33 +- sqrt(33^2 - 4*1*69)] / 2
x = [-33 +- sqrt(1089 - 276)] / 2
x = [-33 +- sqrt(813)] / 2
