Question 290627: Find the vertex of the parabola:
y=-x²+8x+16

Answer by user_dude2008(1862)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
y=-x^2+8x+16

y=-(x^2-8x-16)

y=-(x^2-8x-16+16-16)

y=-(x^2-8x+16-16-16)

y=-((x-4)^2-16-16)

y=-((x-4)^2-32)

y=-(x-4)^2+32

vertex is (4,32)
