THEY ARE NOT EXACTLY PARALLEL...POINT TO POINT...BUT THEY CAN BE SAID TO BE PARALLEL.THEY ARE OBTAINED BY SHIFTING THE VERTEX.THE 2 EQBS ARE
Y=X^2
AND Y - 5 = X^2
