Y=(X-3)^2-9...THIS HAS VERTEX AT X=3 AND ITS VALUE IS
Y=(3-3)^2-9=-9
GRAPH IS OBTAINED BY GIVING DIFFERENT VALUES TO X AND INDING THE CORRESPONDING VALUES OF Y AND PLOTTING THEM TO A SUITABLE SCALE

Find the vertex and the x-intercepts of:
The quadratic equation is in standard form: where: a = -3, b = 6, and c = 0
The x-coordinate of the vertex is given by:

The y-coordinate of the vertex is found by substituting the x = 1 into the original equation and solving for y.

The vertex is at (1, 3)
The x-intercepts are found by setting y = 0 in the original equation and solving for the x-values.
Factor an x
Apply the zero products principle.
and/or
One of the x-intercepts is x = 0
The other one is found from:
Subtract 6 from both sides.
Divide both sides by -3.

The x-intercepts are:
x = 0 and x = 2
