To factor this, it's trial and error, you just need to figure out which factors multiply and add together to give you your middle term (-13x)...
You factor 15x^2 and you get either (15x and 1x) or (3x and 5x)
You factor 6 and you get either (1 and 6) or (2 and 3)
So you use the same principle for trial and error with any numbers you go with. Just because I know the answer, let's go with the right ones off the bat. As long as you know that you can swap these numbers around several times until you get the desired outcome. This process gets harder with bigger numbers. So let's go:
(3x+1)(5x-6) is the right answer. Multiply this out and you get your original equation.
