I need to understand how to do this can someone explain it to me please. thank u very much. the question says begin by graphing the standard quadratic function f(x)=x^2. The use transformation of this graph to graph the given function. g(x)=-1/2(x-3)^2-3 i am not understanding it. Help please

Begin with

Next, what happens if you make that ?

Answer: It opens the graph up to a broader shape!

Now, what happens if you make the function negative

Answer: It inverts the graph!

Now what happens if you make that

Answer: It moves the graph 3 units to the right!

Finally, what happens if you subtract 3 from the previous function?

Answer: It moves the graph down three units.

Pretty neat, huh??
