Question 226609: I know how to solve quadratic equations, but I can't figure out how to simplify this into one. Help please!
(3 / x) - (5 / (x+1)) = 2

multiplying by x(x+1) (the LCD) ___ 3(x+1) - 5(x) = 2(x)(x+1)

3x + 3 - 5x = 2x^2 + 2x

0 = 2x^2 + 4x - 3
