Question 214855: I need an example of how to do this problem.
P=1000(sqrt)t + 3600
P =1000(sqrt)2 + 3600 is everything on this side squared and then square the "p"
P= 1000*1.41 + 3600 am I multiplying here?
p= 1410 + 3600
p= 5010
I don't believe this is correct. I thought I was supposed to square both sides but the radical is already on one side. I am confused. Am I leaving out a step or am I doing it wrong all together?

Answer by Alan3354(69443)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
P=1000(sqrt)t + 3600
P =1000(sqrt)2 + 3600 is everything on this side squared and then square the "p"
P= 1000*1.41 + 3600 am I multiplying here?
p= 1410 + 3600
p= 5010
-----------------
If it's sqrt(2) then it's correct. sqrt(2) is just a constant. The 1st line says sqrt(t), tho ??
