Add 4 to both sides to get:
(x^2/2) - 6x = 0
---
Factor out the common factor of "x":
x[(x/2)-6] = 0
x = 0 or (x/2)-6 = 0
x = 0 or (x/2) = 6
x= 0 or x = 12
