solve by completing the square:
7x^2-14x+3=0
---
7x^2 - 14x = -3
---
7(x^2-2x + ?) = -3 + 7*?
7(x^2-2x+1) = -3 + 7*1
7(x-1)^2) = 4
(x-1)^2 = 4/7
(x-1) = +/-2/sqrt(7)
x = 1 +- (2/7)sqrt(7)
