Question 203924: Can you help me with this problem?
What type of solution do you get for quadratic equations whete D < 0? Give reasons for the answer and provide an example of such a quadratic equation and find the solution of the equation.

Answer by feliz1965(151)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I assume that D = discriminant in this case.
The discriminant is the expression that lies in the radicand of the quadratic formula. If the discriminant is less than 0, there are no real solutions to the quadratic equation. In that case, we say the roots of the equation are imaginary.
