Answer by edjones(8007) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x/4=(x+8)/x
x^2=4(x+8) Multiply each side by 4x (LCM) to eliminate fractions.
x^2=4x+32
x^2-4x-32=0
(x-8)(x+4)=0
x=8, x=-4
