Question 196754: Solve using the quadratic formula:
3x2 – 2x = 15x – 10

Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x^2–2x=15x–10
3x^2-2x-15x+10=0
3x^-17x+10=0

x=(17+-sqrt[-17^2-4*3*10])/2*3
x=(17+-sqrt[289-120])/6
x=(17+-sqrt169)/6
x=(17+13)/6
x=30/6
x=5 ans.
x=(17-13)/6
x=4/6
x=2/3 ans.
