Do exponential functions only model phenomena that grow, or can they also model phenomena that decay? Explain what is different in the form of the function in each case.
Form: y = ab^x
If 0 < b < 1 the function is a decay function.
If b > 1 the function is a growth function

True or false: The function "f(x) = 4x" grows four times faster than the function "g(x) = x". Explain.
Yes. The slope gives the average rate. f(x)=4x has a slope of 4 and
f(x) = x has a slope of 1.
