Question 174093: Put the equation 4x - 3y = 21 into slope-intercept form.
Answer by Mathtut(3670)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
slope intercept form is y=mx+b
:
so we need to isolate the y term
:
first add 3y to both sides
:
3y+21=4x.........now subtract 21 from each side
:
3y=4x-21......now divide all terms by 3
:
......there ya go ...slope is 4/3 and y intercept is -7
