3i-7i+1+i
-7i+4i+1
-3i+1 or 1-3i ans.

Combine first two terms to get:
-(4i)-(-1-i)
distribute the negative sign to terms inside right parenthesis:
-(4i)+1+i
-4i+1+i
Finally, combine terms:
1-3i
