In Thermodynamics, the relation of state variables (Pressure, Volume, & Temp.) is by eqn: ----> , EQN 1
Given----->
*Note: see highlighted, when we deal with Gas Laws (as per EQN 1), we deal with absolute value, that's why we need to convert Celsius in Kelvin, and Absoulte Pressure, that is by adding the System Pressure and Atmospheric Pressure.
.
Subst. values in EQN 1 and solving for ?

Answer
.
It just make sense for to go up since went down ---> they are inversely proportional. Likewise, went up because was up----> directly proprotional.

Thank you,
