Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
3x^3+x^2-3x-1=0
x^2(x+1) -3(x+1) = 0
(x+1)(x^2-3) = 0
x = -1 or x=sqrt(3) or x=-sqrt(3)
