If a quadratic equation has zeros of 5 and 1, write the equation.
If a zero of the equation is x = 5, this means that (x-5) = 0 and therefore (x-5) is a factor of the equation.
Similarly, if x = 1 is a zero, this means that (x-1) = 0 and therefore, (x-1) is a factor of the equation.
To get the equation, you multiply the two factors.
