Write an equation for a function that has the shape of y=x^3. But is shifted right 4 units and up one unit.
Your website says the following when I put in my question:

Start with the given equation

To shift the equation 4 units to the right, simply replace "x" with

To shift the equation 1 unit up, just add 1 to the right side

So let's graph the two equations to compare:

Graph of (red) and (green)

From the graph, we can see that the green graph is simply the red graph but has been shifted 4 units to the right and one unit up. So this verifies the answer.
