If x=1 and x= -8 then form a quadratic equation. Could you please give me some help with this, I thought I needed to know three things to make a quadratic equation so I am confused.
------------
If x=1, then x-1=0
If x=-8, then x+8=0
Since they're both zero, you can multiply them and still get 0.
(x-1)*(x+8) = 0
