Question 153699: hw do you seperate the a and x??
2-----------------2
A x +3 = 2 A
Answer by Earlsdon(6294) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
You can separate the A and the x like this:
Subtract 2A from both sides.
Subtract 3 from both sides.
Now factor the A on the left side.
Finally, divide both sides by (x-2)
Now if you really wanted to solve for x, then:::
Subtract 3 from both sides.
Divide both sides by A
