Write a quadratic equation based on the points (-1,0), (0.67,0), and (0,-2); and find its solution.
-----------------------
The 1st two points are zeroes, so:
f(x) = a(x+1)(x-0.67)
f(x) = a[x^2 + 0.33x -0.67]
---------------
The 3rd point is the y-intercept
f(0) = -0.67a = -2
a = 2.985..
------------------
EQUATION:
f(x) = 2.985[x^2 + 0.33x - 0.67]
