4 + 4x = 2x to 2nd power

Answer by checkley77(12844)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
4+4X=2X^2
2X^2-4X-4=0
2(X^2-2X-2)=0

X=(2+-SQRT[-2^2-4*1*2])/2*1
X=(2+-SQRT[4-8])/2
X=(2+-SQRT-4)/2
X=(2+-2i)/2
X=2/2+-2i/2
X=1+-i
