Graph the system of inequalities.
y >_ -4
x >_ 5
OK Do i just put a dot on the y line at -4, and a 5 on the x line on the graph?
The _ is supposed to be below the >
---------------------
Graph the EQUALITIES:
y = -4 goes thru all the points where y = -4 and is a line
parallel to the x-axis.
The INEQUALITY y > -4 is the half-plane above y = -4
---------------
x = 5 goes thru all the points where x = 5 and is a line
parallel to the y-axis.
The INEQUALITY x > 5 is the half-plane to the right of x = 5
