Question 140933: please help.. using the quadratic formula x=-b+ (small line under the plus sign)sqrt(b^2-4ac)/2a find the roots of the equation
2x^2-3x+1=0 thanks for the help
Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
2x^2-3x+1=0
x=(3+-sqrt[-3^2-4*2*1])/2*2
x=(3+-sqrt[9-8])/4
x=(3+-sqrt1)/4
x=(3+-1)/4
x=(3+1)/4
x=4/4
x=1 answer.
x=(3-1)/4
x=2/4
x=1/2 answer.
