(y=(1/2)x^2 + 4X + 3)

Vertex and axis of symmetry occur where x = -b/2a = -4/(2*1/2)= -4
f(-4) = (1/2)16 -16+3 = -5

y-intercept occurs where x = 0: y = 3

Vertex: (-4,-5)
Axis of sym: x = -4
y-intercept: y = 3
