Question 137766: x^2-10x-1=-10
Using quadratic formula
Answer by checkley77(12844) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
x^2-10x-1=-10
x^2-10x-1+10=0
x^2-10x+9=0
x=(10+-sqrt[-10^2-4*1*9])/2*1
x=(10+-sqrt[100-36])/2
x=(10-+-sqrt64)/2
x=(10+-8)/2
x=(10+8)/2
x=18/2
x=9 answer.
x=(10-8)/2
x=2/2
x=1 answer.
