x=(5+-sqrt[-5^2-4*1*2])/2*1
x=(5+-sqrt[25-8])/2
x=(5+-sqrt17)/2

x=(5+4.123)/2
x=9.123/2
x=4.56 answer.
x=(5-4.123)/2
x=.877/2
x=.4385 answer.
