Basic equation for Bill's salary:
$dollars paid
--------------- = salary rate
# of hrs worked
So substituting,
$50
---- = $6.25/ hour . This will be his rate.
8 hrs
Or vice versa, if his rate is $6.25/hr times 8 hrs worked equals $50.
Nice job!
